Cyclone Overhauling

Performed Complete Cyclone Overhauling:

• Detailed maintenance and repair of all plant cyclones which involves replacing old worn-out liners with both spigot and skirt inclusive.
• regular check-ups on cyclones to know their state i.e whether passing coarse particles as overflow.

Ore Recovery and Grind Sensitivity Tests

Conducted Ore Recovery Tests:

• Assessed ore quality and various recovery rates of ore samples.
• Utilized the bottle roll testing methodologies in its determinaion.

Performed Grind Sensitivity Tests:

• Assessed ore quality and various recovery rates of ore samples.
• Utilized the bottle roll testing methodologies in its determinaion.

Preg Robbing Test and Cyanide Consumption Tests

Executed Preg Robbing Tests:

• Analyzed the impact of organic materials on gold recovery.
• Compared the gold recovery rates from the standard test and the preg robbing test to quantify the extent of preg robbing.
• Implemented strategies to mitigate preg robbing effects such as adding more activated carbon to the CIL circuit to competite with preg-robbers for gold-cyanide complex.

Conducted Cyanide Consumption Tests:

• Monitored and optimized cyanide usage in gold extraction processes by conducting a bottle roll test.

Intensive Cyanidation Reactor (ICR) Operations

Managed ICR Operations:

• Oversaw the operation of Intensive Cyanidation Reactors
• Ensured efficient gold leaching from high-grade concentrates.
• Maintained optimal conditions necessary for effective cyanidation to maximize recovery in the gravity circuit.

Shift Metallurgist Responsibilities

Served as Shift Metallurgist:

• Supervised metallurgical processes during shifts.
• Coordinated team efforts to ensure smooth operations.

Cyanide Concentration Checks:

• Regular monitoring and adjusting cyanide levels.
• Ensuring safe and efficient cyanide usage for gold leaching.

TAC Meter Servicing:

• Conducted routine maintenance by washing probe and its filter-socks to give accurate readings.
• Preparing of titrant to aid in its titration process.

Autosampler Servicing and Checks:

• Regular monitoring and conducting basic checks on autosampler to know its state at the beginning of the Shift.
• Basic repair knowledge on Autosampler.

Developed Strong Troubleshooting Skills:

• Implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime such as regulation of water addition in order to get the desired pulp .
• Ability to diagnose and resolved issues relating to processing promptly.
• Ability to work under pressure and attend to processing relating issues in order of importance.
